Hairdressing Tutor Location: Sunderland This role is available on a full time basis or part time, Monday to Friday can choose 2 days or 3 or 4 or 5 a week Ever felt like your hairdressing experience could make a real difference, not just through the skills you have developed in the industry but by helping learners develop the skills and confidence they need for a successful career? Here is your chance to do just that. At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Hairdressing Tutor to join their expanding team based in Sunderland. You will deliver high quality training to Level 3 learners across hairdressing qualifications, supporting learners to develop their knowledge, practical skills and confidence. What you will be doing: • Deliver engaging training across the Level 3 Hairdressing qualification • Deliver both theory and practical sessions to learners • Support learners to develop their practical hairdressing skills to the required standard • Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback to support their progress Essential Requirements: • Level 3 Hairdressing qualification • Level 3 Teaching qualification such as AET, PTLLS or equivalent or Level 3 Assessor qualification such as CAVA, TAQA or equivalent What we are looking for: • A professional and supportive approach to working with learners • Someone who is learner focused and passionate about maintaining high standards in training and assessment • Confident delivering both theory and practical hairdressing sessions • The ability to motivate learners and contribute positively to the academy environment Salary and benefits: • Salary £27,000 to £30,000 per annum • Supportive academy environment • Pension • 20 days holiday, plus an additional close at Christmas for a week without using holiday entitlement plus stats • Free courses If you are an experienced Hairdressing Tutor with the relevant qualifications and practical experience, this is an opportunity to join a growing training provider and use your industry knowledge to help learners build the skills and confidence they need for their future careers
