Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead (RGN) to oversee the clinical governance and delivery of high-quality care across complex care packages. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care for clients with complex health needs in community settings. Key Responsibilities • Provide clinical leadership and oversight across all complex care packages, • Conduct clinical assessments, risk assessments, and care planning, • Lead and support clinical supervision and competency assessments for nursing and care staff, • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, policies, and best practice guidelines, • Review and monitor clinical incidents, safeguarding concerns, and escalations, • Support with onboarding, clinical interviews, and inductions of new staff, • Deliver and oversee clinical training (e.g. tracheostomy, PEG, ventilator care), • Liaise with families, MDT (GPs, community nurses, case managers), and stakeholders, • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting, • Support continuous quality improvement and audit processes Essential Requirements • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration, • Minimum 3–5 years post-registration experience, • Experience within complex care / community care settings, • Strong knowledge of:, • Tracheostomy care, • PEG feeding, • Ventilation (e.g. BiPAP/CPAP), • Experience in clinical supervision and staff competency assessments, • Excellent communication and leadership skills, • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding Desirable • Experience in a lead or senior clinical role, • Teaching or mentoring experience, • Full UK driving licence What We Offer • Competitive salary, • Ongoing professional development, • Opportunity to lead within a growing complex care service, • Supportive and collaborative working environment
