Competitive hourly pay rates of£18.49 - £20.17 p/h (includes rolled up holiday pay) Immediate starts available Weekly pay every Friday £150 sign up bonus Overtime opportunities to maximise your earnings Regular, ongoing work Flexible shift patterns to suit your availability Full site induction and ongoing support Modern fleet and well-maintained vehicles Friendly and supportive transport team Potential long-term opportunities with a leading employer The Role As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include: A mixture of Curtain Sider and Box Trailer work Mainly clean trunking work - Minimal to No hand balling Curtain Side work - trunking but strapping & curtain movement required Box Trailer work - some runs require pallets to be moved with a Pallet truck but the rest are purely trailer movements Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately What We're Looking For To be considered for this role, you'll need: A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC) and avalid Digital Tachograph Card A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service Our client may accept up to 6 penalty points. Job description: Here at GXO Hope Valley Derbyshire S33 6RP, we are currently recruiting for HGV C+E (Class 1) Drivers to join our transport team supporting our customer, Breedon Cement. If you are looking for a new challenge and the chance to develop your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Dont worry if you havent operated a powder tanker before, we will provide all the training and support youll need to get out on the road and making deliveries.
