Chef Salary: £13 to £14 per hour, depending on skills and experience Easingwold due to location car driver desirable Full-time or part-time available (Part-time hours between 16 to 28 per week) Our client is an independent pub in the centre of Easingwold and they are on the lookout for a new chef to join their kitchen team. They are known locally for great food, friendly atmosphere, and proper hospitality. With hands-on owners and a strong team spirit, its a down-to-earth place where staff and customers feel at home. The kitchen, led by an experienced Head Chef, serves a menu of honest, well-cooked food. from hearty pub favourites to specials with a bit of flair. About the role: • Day-to-day food prep and cooking, • Supporting the Head Chef during service, • Taking responsibility for keeping the kitchen running smoothly, • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, • Pitching in with deliveries, stock rotation, and general kitchen upkeep, • Assisting with menu prep and occasional input on specials, • Ensuring cleaning schedules and checks are completed and logged, • Some previous kitchen experience is helpful, but not essential, • A calm head and the ability to work independently when needed, • Ideally, some relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ), but this isnt a dealbreaker, • A driver would be ideal, as Easingwold is a small market town with limited public transport, • Someone happy to work flexibly across weekdays and weekends - the pub is open 7 days a week, • A genuine interest in food and willingness to learn from a supportive Head Chef, • Good communication and, • Reliability and good timekeeping Interested in this Chef role?
