Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Darlington About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You’ll oversee classes, deliver pre-set work, and ensure students remain focused and on task. Acting as a reliable and consistent presence, you’ll help create a calm and productive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise whole classes in the absence of the regular teacher Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions Manage classroom behaviour and maintain student engagement Provide support to students where required Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment What Schools Are Looking For You don’t need to hold a formal teaching qualification, but confidence, adaptability, and a proactive approach are essential.
