The role As a Bar Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Bar Manager to run the day-to-day bar operation at Brasserie Olivia. You'll lead and support the bar team during busy services, making sure drinks are prepared quickly, consistently and to the highest standard. You'll support the Bar Manager with rotas, ordering, stock and waste, while helping train and develop the team. Our bar sits at the heart of the restaurant, so you'll also be present with our guests, bringing energy, personality and great hospitality. What success looks like • You'll help run and organise a bar where drinks are prepared quickly and consistently, even during the busiest services., • You'll ensure the bar is fully prepared for service, with stock, equipment and mise en place ready before the first guests arrive., • You'll maintain excellent standards across cocktails and drinks, making sure everything is consistent and beautifully presented., • You'll support the Bar Manager with rotas, ordering, stock management and waste control, helping the bar run efficiently., • You'll coach, train and support bartenders, helping build a confident, knowledgeable and high-performing team., • You'll support recruitment by coordinating trial shifts and identifying candidates who will strengthen the team., • You'll create a great guest experience, interacting naturally with guests and bringing positive energy to the restaurant., • You'll work closely with the floor and kitchen teams to keep service running smoothly throughout every shift. What you'll bring • You're already working as a Bar Assistant Manager, or you're an experienced Senior Bartender ready for the next step., • You have strong experience working in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment., • You have excellent cocktail knowledge and are confident in preparing all the classics quickly and consistently., • You have experience with the operational side of running a bar, including staff rotas, ordering, stock management and waste control., • You're confident leading a team, giving feedback and helping bartenders develop, • You're quick on your feet, stay calm under pressure and know how to keep things moving during a busy service., • You're positive, presentable and comfortable interacting with guests and creating a great atmosphere., • Good wine knowledge would be a plus.     Full job description Part Time Beauty Therapist & Retail Skincare Advisor Location: Sutton, London Hours: 3 days per week (1.30pm - 5.30pm, about 13.5 hours per week with the option to scale up as demand grows) Pay : £13 to £13.50 per hour, depending on experience Additional pay: 10% commission on treatments personally performed About Skinfidence Skinfidence is a new skincare , haircare and clean beauty destination in Sutton, combining carefully curated skincare products with personalised advice, skin analysis and targeted beauty treatments. We are looking for a qualified Beauty Therapist who is equally comfortable providing treatments, advising customers and helping to run a beautiful retail space. This is a varied role for someone who genuinely loves skincare, understands different skin types and tones, especially black and brown skin tones and enjoys helping customers find solutions that work for them. What you’ll be doing Your time will be split between looking after the retail store and providing booked beauty treatments. Skincare & Retail • Welcome customers and understand their skincare concerns, • Provide personalised skincare and product recommendations, • Carry out skin consultations and support AI skin analysis, • Confidently explain and recommend products from our curated brands, • Process customer purchases and operate the till, • Keep the store clean, organised and beautifully presented, • Replenish products and help manage stock, • Work towards store sales targets, • Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat visits Beauty Treatments Depending on your qualifications and experience, you may provide: • Express facials, • Facial massage, • Lash lifts and tints, • Brow treatments, • LED facial treatments, • Other suitable express beauty treatments Our initial treatment offering will focus on services that can be delivered within our compact skincare studio, with the opportunity to expand the treatment menu as Skinfidence grows. What we’re looking for • Level 2 or Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification, or equivalent, • Professional beauty treatment experience, • Strong knowledge of skincare and ingredients, • Experience and confidence working with Black, African and other melanin rich skin tones, • Understanding of concerns including hyperpigmentation, post inflammatory pigmentation, acne, uneven skin tone and dryness, • Excellent customer service and communication skills, • Comfortable recommending and selling skincare products, • High standards of hygiene and professionalism, • Reliable, organised and confident working independently, • Commercially minded and comfortable working towards sales targets Experience with facial treatments, skin analysis, lash treatments or facial massage would be particularly welcome. The person we’re looking for We want someone warm, knowledgeable and confident who can make customers feel comfortable asking questions about their skin. You should enjoy both sides of the role. On a quiet treatment day, you should be happy engaging customers, recommending products and looking after the store. When a treatment is booked, you should be confident switching into therapist mode and delivering an excellent client experience. Most importantly, we want someone who understands that skincare isn’t one size fits all and can confidently work with customers across different skin tones and concerns.     👟 Flexible Shoe Cleaning Assistant – £2 Per Pair | Side Hustle Hi! I’m Hana, I’m 21 and have been running my pre-owned shoe business for around 6 years alongside university. As I’m returning to university soon and go through a lot of shoes, I’m looking for a reliable local person to help clean batches of shoes when needed. 🧽 The Job You’ll collect batches of shoes from my home, take them home to clean, and return them once finished. I provide the cleaning supplies and will show you exactly how I clean the shoes and the standard I expect, so no previous experience is needed. The shoes need to be properly and thoroughly cleaned — not just given a quick wipe. Some pairs will be relatively easy, while others will be dirtier and require more scrubbing, patience and time. I understand that some stains, discolouration and signs of wear simply cannot be removed. I don’t expect perfection or for excessive time to be spent trying to remove permanent marks. However, I do expect a genuine effort and good-quality clean on every pair, while taking care not to damage different materials. If a pair has clearly not been cleaned to the standard I’ve demonstrated, I will ask for it to be cleaned again before payment for that pair. 💷 Pay & Workload £2 per pair – fixed rate. For example: 10 pairs = £20 20 pairs = £40 30 pairs = £60 50 pairs = £100 The amount of work will vary. One batch could be 10 pairs, another 30 or 50+, and some weeks I may not have any shoes that need cleaning. Please treat this as a flexible side hustle rather than guaranteed regular employment. I will contact you whenever I have a batch ready. Please do not rely on a certain number of pairs or regularly pressure me for the next batch — I will message you when I need your help. 🚗 Collection & Return You will need to collect the shoes from my home and return them once cleaned, so please consider the travelling involved before applying. Having access to a car would be ideal. Shoes must also be returned by the agreed time. I will count each batch before collection and when it is returned. ⭐ What I Expect • Reliable, trustworthy and good communication, • Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions, • Quality and care rather than rushing, • Cleaning products used sensibly without unnecessary waste, • Shoes collected and returned as agreed, • Every pair given a genuine, thorough clean Everyone will begin with a small paid trial batch so we can both see whether the arrangement works well. I’m hiring someone to save me time while I’m at university, so I’m looking for someone who can work independently and consistently without creating extra work for me.
