It is a sophisticated yet relaxed bistro in the heart of Blackfriars, combining the vibrancy of New York dining with the timeless elegance of London. • Take ownership of your assigned section, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented consistently to the required standards., • Supervise and participate in food preparation and cooking in accordance with established recipes, methods, and Hyatt standards., • Monitor food quality throughout preparation and service by regularly tasting and checking dishes., • Review daily menus, function sheets, event orders, and forecasts to ensure appropriate preparation and production levels., • Manage stock levels within your section, including ordering supplies and minimising waste., • Ensure all equipment, utensils, and work areas are clean, organised, and maintained in safe working condition., • Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety regulations at all times., • Support and coach junior team members through on‑the‑job training and guidance on correct work methods and standards., • Assist the Sous Chef with menu planning and the preparation of market lists in line with Hyatt quality and quantity standards., • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service.
