Essential Requirements and Experience • Passionate about making the difference to the lives of young people in care., • Relevant Experience: At least 2 years in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years., • Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to start within 6 months of employment., • Knowledge: Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements., • Skills: Efficient in; planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership., • Communication: Confidence in effective spoken and written communication., • Understanding Trauma: Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour., • Driving License: Full UK required.
