Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will lead and manage core accounting functions, including cashflow, management accounts, and central overheads, while overseeing the AP/AR teams, supporting financial planning and reporting, and driving efficiency and compliance across the business. Responsibilities: • Building, developing, and motivating a high-performing Financial Reporting team (3 direct reports),, • Creating clear progression and resilience in the function., • Providing strong financial stewardship through the review and challenge of journals, balance sheets, and period-end packs, raising the bar on quality and control., • Safeguarding the integrity of the UK balance sheet, with clear ownership and accountability for accuracy and robustness., • Leading the management and reporting of the group’s FX risk exposure across multiple currencies, including the application of hedge accounting and derivative compliance., • Overseeing monthly VAT and indirect tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process discipline., • Reviewing and guiding the preparation of statutory accounts for UK entities under FRS 101 (IFRS), acting as a trusted technical accounting lead., • Playing a central role in Internal and External Audits, acting as a key liaison and driving efficient, well-controlled audit outcomes., • Championing continuous improvement across the UK business, particularly through D365 adoption and optimisation, and sharing best practice across international hubs., • Leading complex ad hoc initiatives, including UK SOX readiness, technical accounting change, and new business set-ups. You will have 3–5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within a large organisation, and hands-on expertise in group consolidations across multiple entities or hubs, as well as foreign exchange.
