Milk Education is working in partnership with a secondary school in Middlesbrough to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term temporary basis starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive school environment and make a real impact on students’ learning and progress. Key Responsibilities: • Teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4., • Delivering engaging lessons that develop students' creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills., • Planning, preparing, and assessing work in line with the national curriculum., • Maintaining a safe and productive workshop/classroom environment., • Contributing positively to the wider school community and departmental activities. Requirements: • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification., • Has experience teaching Design & Technology within a secondary school setting., • Specialisms in areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, or Construction are welcomed., • Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills., • Has a genuine passion for teaching and supporting young people to achieve their potential.
