Secondary Supply Teacher Locations: Redbridge, Hampshire. Role Type: Flexible / Day-to-Day / Long-Term Supply Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential) Are you a passionate and adaptable Secondary Teacher looking for flexible work across Hampshire? We are seeking committed, reliable, and professional Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools throughout Hampshire. This role is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and making a positive difference in young people’s education. The Role As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will step into classrooms confidently, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the usual class teacher. You will uphold high standards of teaching, behaviour, and professionalism at all times. Key Responsibilities In the Classroom • Deliver pre-set lessons effectively across your subject specialism and/or general cover, • Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment, • Manage classroom behaviour in line with each school’s behaviour policy, • Ensure students remain focused, safe, and on task, • Adapt quickly to different school settings, routines, and expectations, • Accurately record attendance and complete any required lesson feedback, • Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism and integrity, • Communicate effectively with teaching staff, cover managers, and senior leaders, • Supervise students during duties such as transitions, break, and lunch if required, • Respect confidentiality and data protection standards We expect all supply staff to uphold the highest standards of professionalism both in and out of the classroom, including: • Consistent punctuality, reliability, and preparedness, • Appropriate professional dress and conduct, • Strong behaviour management and classroom presence, • Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied school settings, • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare, • Respect for school policies, staff, and students, • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification, • Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools, • Strong classroom management skills, • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Apply today to join our supply team across Hampshire’s secondary schools.
