With significant investment in modern cloud platforms and customer-facing digital services, the business is rebuilding its digital estate to support new products, smoother user journeys and improved operational capabilities. You will be part of a forward-thinking digital function with strong leadership support and a clearly defined roadmap — an ideal environment for an architect who wants to shape long-term platforms, influence strategy and embed modern engineering practices. The Role As a Digital Architect, you will shape, define and govern the organisation’s digital platforms, with an emphasis on Azure and Sitecore-based solutions. You’ll work across multiple product teams and delivery partners, ensuring architectures are scalable, secure and future proof. This is a hands-on architectural leadership role where your decisions will influence key digital services used by large volumes of internal and external users. This is a 24-month fixed-term contract with genuine long-term potential, including the possibility of a permanent role. What you’ll be doing • Designing and governing digital platforms built on Azure, Sitecore and surrounding technologies, • Defining architectures that align with enterprise standards, cloud strategy and security governance, • Working closely with product and engineering squads to create scalable and pragmatic solutions, • Influencing technical direction across internal teams and external delivery partners, • Driving modern engineering principles such as API-first design, microservices, automation and quality-driven development, • Supporting complex integrations across mobile, CRM, digital channels and business systems, • Helping develop the future digital blueprint the organisation will build upon for years to come What we’re looking for • Proven background architecting digital platforms in complex environments, • Strong technical experience with Azure cloud services and Sitecore (or similar enterprise web/content platforms), • Expertise in API-led architectures, microservices and cloud-native design, • Understanding of CRM, mobile and wider digital ecosystem integrations, • Solid appreciation of GDPR, data governance and cyber security principles, • Certifications such as TOGAF or Azure Solutions Architect are beneficial, • £75,000–£90,000 salary depending on experience, • Long-term progression and internal career opportunities If you’re a Digital Architect seeking the chance to define modern cloud and digital platforms — in a stable, well-backed transformation environment — this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
