ApplyWe are looking for an Assessor/Trainer in Plumbing and Gas to join our busy, high-performing Construction Department in Cambridge This is a chance to use your industry expertise to shape the next generation of skilled professionals while working in a supportive, forward-thinking team.You will lead a caseload of apprentices, guiding them through every stage of their programme and helping them build the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to thrive. Your coaching and assessment will play a vital role in ensuring they are fully prepared for a confident, successful End Point Assessment.What you'll do • Deliver engaging, high-quality training, coaching and support, • Carry out workplace assessments and progress reviews, • Monitor, track and record apprentice progress with accuracy and clarity, • Prepare apprentices thoroughly for End Point Assessment, • Build strong, professional relationships with employers across the region, • Contribute to business development and employer engagement activity, • Keep up to date with industry standards, regulations and Health & Safety, • Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation and recordsThis role offers agile working, blending on-site delivery, workplace visits and remote administrative work from home.What you'll bring, • A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Plumbing, • Strong, relevant industry experience, • Assessor and/or IQA qualifications (desirable), • Experience teaching or assessing (desirable), • Solid understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements, • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, • Confidence using digital systems and tools
