Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Immediate Starts Available Barker Ross are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an ongoing, full-time role. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for a regular Monday to Friday shift, with consistent hours and no handballing involved. The Shift Monday to Friday 10:00am - 8:00pm Start and finish times may vary slightly depending on operational requirements, so flexibility is required. What You'll Be Doing • Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally, • Delivering palletised goods - no handballing required, • Ensuring the vehicle and freight are secure at all times, • Completing daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork, • Following all road transport and Health & Safety regulations, • Providing a reliable and professional service at all times What We're Looking For To be considered for this role, you will need: • A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, • A valid Driver CPC, • A valid Digital Tachograph Card, • A minimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experience, • No more than 6 points on your licence, • No DD or DR convictions, • A good understanding of driving hours and road transport regulations, • A reliable and professional attitude, • The ability to work independently Assessment Required An assessment is required for this role and will take place at 10:00am tomorrow, Friday 28/08. Successful candidates will be able to start ASAP.
