This role stays close to the code and carries responsibility for technical quality, delivery outcomes and ensuring that implementation aligns clearly with architectural intent from idea through to production. Our current landscape includes legacy .NET Framework systems, but our strategic focus is on replacing these platforms with a fully distributed, modern architecture built using contemporary .NET and cloud-native approaches. We are also in the early stages of introducing AI-assisted and agentic coding practices. Alongside the Software Architect, you will help evaluate, adopt, and embed these tools responsibly to improve productivity, consistency and quality while maintaining appropriate controls for regulated environments. This role is primarily hands-on and focused on technical delivery and leadership. Line management responsibilities will not apply initially.
