Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to oversee and drive performance across multiple sites in the North of England.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Regional Sales Director, you will take full responsibility for the commercial and operational success of up to four dealership locations across the region, overseeing a workforce of approximately 300 staff. Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead dealership management teams, drive sales and profitability, elevate retail standards, and embed a strong customer service culture across all locations.\n\nThis role requires a highly analytical and commercially astute leader who can use data, performance metrics, and operational insight to improve results while maintaining exceptional customer experience standards and consistent retail presentation across the region.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and support General Managers and senior leadership teams across up to four dealership sites\nOversee and inspire a workforce of circa 300 employees across the region\nDeliver regional sales, profitability, and finance performance targets\nAnalyse operational and commercial data to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities\nDrive exceptional retail standards and ensure consistency across all sites\nChampion a customer-first culture focused on service excellence and customer satisfaction\nImprove conversion rates, finance penetration, stock turn, and operational efficiencies\nEnsure all dealerships operate in line with company processes, FCA regulations, and compliance standards\nDevelop and implement regional strategies aligned with company objectives and growth plans\nBuild a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, accountability, and leadership development\nWork closely with finance, operations, marketing, and compliance departments to maximise business performance\nSupport recruitment, succession planning, and talent development initiativesCandidate Requirements\n\nPrevious experience in a Regional Sales Director, Group Sales Director, Head of Sales, or senior multi-site automotive leadership role\nStrong background within the motor retail industry, ideally within used car supermarkets or high-volume automotive retail\nProven experience managing multiple dealership locations and large teams\nDemonstrable success in driving sales growth, operational performance, and customer satisfaction\nHighly analytical with strong commercial and operational insight\nPassionate about retail standards, customer journey, and service culture\nStrong leadership, coaching, and people development skills\nHighly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment\nResults-driven with a hands-on leadership style\nFull UK driving licence requiredWhat's on Offer\n\n£85,000 - £100,000 basic salary\nRealistic £135,000 - £150,000 OTE\nCompany car\nExecutive benefits package\nMonday to Friday working pattern\nOpportunity to join one of the UK's leading used car supermarket operators\nDynamic, fast-paced leadership environment with genuine career progression opportunitiesApply\n\nIf you are an ambitious automotive leader with multi-site experience and a passion for delivering outstanding commercial results, customer service excellence, and operational standards, we would love to hear from you
