Main Duties and Responsibilities: • To ensure dock leveller & FLT’s are checked daily, recorded on relevant sheets and defects reported. • Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy. • Deal with inbound vehicles following the correct company procedure. • Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations, rotation and TPQ policies. • High level of care and accuracy with pick operations. • Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight all errors and damages prior to completion. • Maintain high standards of site house-keeping and view all areas including the warehouse as an extension of our showroom. • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to Team Leader immediately. • Deal with trade counter customers in a professional and courteous manner. • Assist with inventory counting when necessary. • Put improvement suggestions forward where appropriate.

This job includes lifting bags up to 25kg and will be to pack flour with our machines.

Key Responsibilities: Packing Fruit: Efficiently and accurately pack fruit on the production line, ensuring each package meets company quality standards. Quality Control: Inspect fruit for defects and remove any substandard products before packing. Production Line Operations: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the production line runs smoothly and efficiently. Labelling and Sealing: Apply labels and seal packages as required, ensuring that all packages are correctly marked and secure. Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety protocols. Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the routine cleaning and maintenance of packing equipment and work areas. Qualifications: Previous experience in a production or packing environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a production setting. Flexibility to work the night shift (23:00 - 06:00) with a paid 30-minute break.

Unloading and loading of construction materials. Management of yard.

You will be required to work across various activities within the warehouse: · Required to Pick orders in an accurate & time efficient manner · Have good attention to detail ensuring work is completed with minimal errors · Packing customer's orders ready for despatch on both external & internal transport - ensuring documents & labels are on the correct items · Off-load containers of incoming stock - check goods off & load on racking. · General Warehouse duties About You: You will have to have a good understanding of written & spoken English. Be able to work as part of a team & alone. We are a fast-paced distribution company so candidates should be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required. Licence/Certification: · Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Required) Reach Forklift Double Deep (Preferred) This is a full-time permanent position and you will be based in Long Crendon Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 4:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break plus 2 x 15-minute breaks.
