They have an exciting opportunity for an individual that aspires to become a Financial Adviser! You’ll join a close-knit team, working closely with the Director to learn the business inside-out. Working over a 2-year period, they’ll help you obtain your level 4 diploma in financial planning, whilst providing compressive training on all aspects of the advice process, giving you a ready-made foundation for a successful advisory career. This role would suit someone who is currently working at a financial planning/wealth management business within an administration or junior paraplanning role. What’s on offer: • Salary of up to £35,000 (DOE) + commission package and clear earning progression, • Support for the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, • Career development into a full financial planning role with a client bank to take on., • A professional but relaxed environment, far removed from a typical corporate structure, • Mentorship from the Director, • Free on-site parking and hybrid arrangement once established Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support to Advisers, including preparing documentation, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records, • Assist with gathering and analysing client information to support the preparation of financial plans, • Attend client meetings alongside advisers to observe and learn the advice process, • Liaise with product providers to obtain policy information, valuations, and illustrations, • Ensure all compliance requirements and internal procedures are followed at every stage of the advice process, • Support with the preparation of suitability reports and investment reviews under supervision, • Take part in regular mentoring sessions with senior advisers to develop technical knowledge and client relationship skills, • Gradually increase client-facing responsibilities, moving towards full advisory duties over a 2-year period About you: • Must have worked in the industry in the last two years, • Progress towards industry exams (desirable), • High attention to detail, • Organised, professional, and confident in client-facing situations, • Looking for a long-term career in financial advice with a clear development pathway, • Solid administration experience, • Strong writing skills This is a golden opportunity to join a growing financial planning firm in Southampton, which are values-led offering a structured and supported route into financial advice with opportunity to take on clients.
