We are currently looking to grow our team and are looking for someone to join our Publicity Department as a Junior Technical Visual Designer. About the r ole R eporting to the Publicity Manager , y ou r primary responsibility will be supporting the Publicity Department (and wider Marketing Department) with the creation and management of technical - based content , including product installation guides, labels and technical illustration s . In addition, you will assist in the production of other content such as graphic design for brochures, website designs , social media and more . As part of the in-house creative team, you will be collaborating closely with other internal departments , including Technical, Product Design and Product Manage ment teams to create clean and clear , customer -focu sed content. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to move into the visual design/technical design field. Experience is not essential what we are looking for is someone with the desire to learn and grow in the role and willing to learn from the ground up. You will be part of a supportive team and wider organisation where skills development and career progression are encouraged, supported by relevant training and personal development courses where required. Key Responsibilities Installation guides: Work with the Design and Technical teams to create technical illustrations , graphics and final artwork product installation guides using Adobe Illustrator / InDesign . Label design : Produce clear, well-designed labels for products, cartons and other requirements . Technical illustration : Produce technical graphics such as dimension drawings and other infographics. Graphic design: Creat e and maintain artwork for brochures, website layouts, infographics, newsletters, vehicle liveries and logos. Maintaining b rand consistency: Ensure all designs align with the Thorlux visual identity and brand guidelines. Data and asset management: Assist in the maintenance of data and digital assets through the company's Product Information Management ( PIM ) and Digital Asset Management ( DAM ) systems. Collaboration: Working closely with other teams, such as Marketing Communications, Product Managers, Technical, Design and Web Development, to ensure visual content is integrated effectively. Skills/Experience Required Skills: Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign Strong technical awareness : Ability to deconstruct products and create simple , concise processes to reassemble them. Motivated and self - driven able to take ownership of a task and see it through to completion. Not afraid to ask for help or clarity when needed to ensure understanding . Keen attention to detail: A methodical mindset and detail - oriented , meticulous in approach . Drive n to succeed: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn. Well o rganised: Highly organised and able to prioritise workload and understand creative briefs with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously . Strong communication : Ability to demonstrate ideas, research and problem - solving. Be able to communicate with other departments to deliver projects under challenging deadlines. Desirable S kills : K nowledge of photography/videography. Knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience: Ability to display a portfolio showcasing recent work examples (professional, educational or personal projects) A HND in Graphic Design or an equivalent qualification, or relevant commercial skills in a similar role or industry , are desirable .
