Description The role of a ambassador is to raise the profile of University of Nottingham Sport and the wider University brand through the delivery of our brand new live streaming platform. Its a fantastic opportunity to gain real marketing and communications experience focussed on the delivery of live match days and contribute to the ambitious vision of the UoN Sport department. Start Date:September 2025 (ideally w/c 15 September 2025) End Date: June 2026 Working Hours:6 hours per week Pay Rate: 13.12 per hour plus holiday pay Location: David Ross Sports Village University Park Dress Code: Smart casual branded sports kit will be provided Supported by the Sports Marketing and Communications Manager the duties will include: • Deliver our programme of live streamed content via for our British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitive schedule as well as other key sporting events such as Varsity and Headliner., • Lead on setting up live streams manning cameras during games updating scoreboards and ensuring all streams maintain our high-quality standards., • Organise and co-ordinate commentators from sports clubs to support live events., • Provide support to sports clubs streaming via the platform., • Create quality digital assets to promote and enhance our live streamed content., • Help shape marketing campaigns targeted to students related to ., • Provide additional capacity at key department events such as Open Days and Welcome. Skills and experience required for the role: • Candidates must be studying at the University of Nottingham for the full 2025/26 academic year., • Passionate about live sport., • Knowledge of University of Nottingham Sport particularly our competitive sport offer., • Previous live streaming experience would be an advantage but not compulsory full training will be provided., • Basic editing skills (Adobe Photoshop) would be an advantage but not compulsory full training will be provided.
