Salary: up to £32,000 depending on experience Working hours: 8.00 - 5.00 fully office based Holidays: 25 days holiday plus bank Benefits: Opportunity to go permanent Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and organised Sales Support Executive to join a busy commercial team. This is a dynamic role focused on customer engagement, lead qualification, quote support, and sales administration. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting business development activities. Main Responsibilities to include: Make outbound calls to cold, warm, and dormant leads to initiate contact and assess interest Respond to incoming sales calls and web enquiries, providing basic information and escalating when necessary Build early-stage relationships with potential customers, developing rapport and trust Support the preparation of quotes and proposals, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Follow up on sent quotes, maintain contact with prospects, and capture feedback Keep the CRM system up to date with notes, contact details, and activity logs Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities Monitor digital enquiry channels (e.g., website, contact forms, live chat) and manage leads appropriately Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling and flag to relevant team members Assist with administrative tasks and follow-up activities relating to sales and marketing campaigns Contribute to outbound call campaigns and track outreach metrics Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products/services to confidently communicate with prospects The ideal candidate: Clear and professional telephone manner Strong verbal and written communication skills Confident and personable with a customer-first mindset Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Detail-oriented, especially in preparing quotes and updating records Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Able to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment Experience & Skills 1-2 years' experience in a similar role such as sales support, telemarketing, or customer service (B2B experience preferred) Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) desirable Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel Exposure to technical, industrial, or commercial service environments is a plus Fluent in written and spoken English TPBN1_UKTJ
