Our mission is to enhance the resilience, self-esteem, and abilities of every young person we work with. \n\n Your Role\n As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of our young people. We are looking for individuals who are strong, committed, and passionate about making a difference. You will be a role model, a listening ear, and a source of inspiration, helping to create happy memories and fun experiences. \n\n Main Duties\n Your daily responsibilities will vary based on whether it’s term-time or holiday periods, but here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing: \n \n • Support daily routines, including personal hygiene, meals, and activities.\n, • Encourage life skills and independence through room cleaning and socialization.\n, • Attend medical and other appointments.\n, • Implement activity plans and assist with daily paperwork.\n, • Manage budgeting and shopping needs, including meal prep and kitchen hygiene.\n, • Flexibility for sleep-in nights and 14-hour shifts (typically 2 days on, 2 days off).\n, • An understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care.\n, • A relevant qualification (e.g., Residential Childcare Diploma) or a willingness to pursue one.\n, • Excellent communication and listening skills.\n, • A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a small team.\n, • A full, clean UK driving license.\n, • A sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night, with potential extra earnings of up to £3,257.28.\n, • Up to 6 weeks of holiday per year.\n, • A flexible rota pattern with staggered start times.\n, • All meals provided during shifts.\n, • A company pension and access to an Employee Discount Scheme.\n, • Wellbeing programs and comprehensive training, including ongoing CPD opportunities.\n, • Access to qualifications (including Diploma 3/Diploma 5) and promotion opportunities.\n
