The Role: We are seeking an empathetic Registered Nurse in Margate to provide dedicated, one-on-one care Term Time during school days. We have a vacancy for a part time nurse working 2-3 shifts per week. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for a child requiring specialised medical support. You will work closely with the child’s family and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, person-centred care while supporting emotional well-being and development. Comprehensive in-house training and an induction programme will be provided, led by our Nurse Manager, to ensure you are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge required to deliver the highest standard of care. We are committed to supporting you throughout your role to ensure the best possible outcomes for our client. Key responsibilities include: * • Hickman line care – aseptic technique for flushing, dressing changes, and infection monitoring, • PEG and gastrostomy feeding – administering feeds and medications, maintaining site hygiene, • Medication administration – accurate delivery via enteral route, monitoring effects, • TPN management – connecting/disconnecting infusions using sterile technique, monitoring for complications, • Ileostomy care – stoma site management, monitoring output and hydration Available Shift Patterns: * • Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 08:00 - 15:00 Essential: NMC registration, knowledge of infection control, experience with enteral feeding, central lines, or TPN and experience in paediatric or complex care.
