Sounds great, what will I be doing? Empower a caseload of service users to manage their health and wellbeing. As part of a team, you will support a staffing rota offering support to service users between the hours of 8am-10pm Mon-Sun each week. In collaboration with your team, you will actively monitor wellbeing, mental health, housing and living environment to ensure service users journey into independence. Moreover, you will take a solution focused and co-produced approach to supporting service users with their move-on into independent living. What do I need to bring with me? Here's what the team will be looking for You have experience working with individuals who have mental health and/or dual diagnosis needs in a paid or voluntary capacity, and you are able to learn quickly, gather information, and make sound decisions. You can record and share detailed information accurately and confidentially, while maintaining professionalism and clear communication. You are skilled in working with people who may display challenging behaviour, using de-escalation techniques and a calm, non-judgemental, anti-discriminatory approach. You bring a solution-focused mindset, working collaboratively to resolve problems and remaining optimistic about people's capacity for change. You are comfortable working in fast-paced or chaotic environments and can manage pressure while maintaining boundaries and quality of support. You are willing to work early, late, and occasional weekend shifts as part of a team rota, and you have strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, with the ability to respond appropriately when concerns arise. When will I be working? Quantity Surveyor Location: Office based, Bromley Projects: South East London and London An established and well respected residential developer and contractor based in Bromley is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team due to continued growth and a strong forward order book. The business delivers high quality residential and mixed use schemes across South East London and London and has built a reputation for long term client relationships, repeat work and a collaborative working culture. This is a fully office based position, working closely with the Commercial Manager and project delivery teams. All projects are based locally across London and the South East, meaning no long distance travel or time spent away from home. The role will suit a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys being involved in the full commercial lifecycle of projects and wants to work in a stable environment where quality and delivery are prioritised over volume. The Quantity Surveyor will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple residential schemes from pre construction through to final account. This includes cost planning and budgeting, procurement of subcontractor packages, preparation and agreement of valuations, management and assessment of variations, change control under JCT contracts, applications for payment, cost reporting and regular forecasting. You will work closely with site teams, consultants and the supply chain, playing a key role in maintaining strong commercial control and supporting successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience working within residential construction or housebuilding and be confident managing their own projects with minimal supervision. A solid understanding of JCT forms of contract is essential, along with a practical and proactive approach to problem solving.
