HR Business Partner \n\nRed Recruitment is hiring a HR Business Partner for our client, to support the delivery of a high-quality, people-focused HR service across the business. You will play a key role in advising managers and employees on a broad range of HR matters, helping to build a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.\n\nThis is a busy and varied opportunity for someone with solid generalist HR experience, strong employee relations knowledge, and a good understanding of UK employment law. You will work closely with the HR Manager and wider HR team, using sound judgement, initiative, and data to support managers and contribute to continuous improvement across the people function.\n\nPrevious experience in an HR Advisor or HR generalist role is required for this position.\n\nBenefits and Package for a HR Business Partner:\n\nSalary: £35,000 - £40,000\nHours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week\nLocation: Cardiff, Hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home\nGenerous holiday allowance\nCompany-paid health cash plan\nPension via salary sacrifice\nHoliday buy scheme\nPerkbox discount portal\nStaff travel insurance discounts\nSupportive, inclusive team culture\nConvenient office locations with easy access to public transport\n Key Responsibilities of a HR Business Partner:\n\nAct as a key point of contact for HR queries, providing practical advice and guidance to employees, managers, and HR colleagues across a wide range of people matters, including employee relations casework and the consistent application of HR policies and procedures.\nPartner with managers and stakeholders across the business to support HR best practice, policy compliance, people initiatives, and informed decision-making, while coaching leaders on HR processes and identifying training and development needs.\nSupport core employee lifecycle activity, including recruitment and attraction, onboarding, HR documentation, contracts and correspondence, payroll-related administration, and the delivery of a positive employee experience.\nContribute to wider people activity by supporting HR reporting, people metrics, employee engagement initiatives, reward and benchmarking activity, and continuous improvement projects that align with the organisation's values and objectives.\nProvide additional operational support where needed, including office facilities coordination and workplace health and safety administration, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance within areas of responsibility. \n\nKey Skills and Experience of a HR Business Partner:\n\nProven experience in a HR Advisor or HR generalist role\nStrong experience managing a range of employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters\nGood working knowledge of current UK employment legislation and HR best practice\nExperience using HR systems and working with HR metrics or KPIs to support business decisions\nConfident building effective working relationships and partnering with managers across the business\nStrong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills\nProactive, adaptable, and able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment\nCustomer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering a high-quality employee experience\nStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook\nCIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified, desirable, or working towards qualificationIf you are interested in this position as a HR Business Partner and have the relevant skills and experience required, please apply now!\n\nRed Recruitment (Agency)
