About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join a well-established residential care home based in Lymington. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people within a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. You will support their emotional well-being, behavioural development, and daily routines while ensuring safeguarding standards are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day care and support within a children’s residential setting, • Support emotional, behavioural, and social development, • Promote independence, dignity, and well-being, • Follow strict safeguarding and child protection procedures, • Assist with daily routines (meals, education, activities, bedtime), • Maintain accurate care plans, logs, and reports, • Work effectively within a team-based care environment Shift Patterns (Rota) Waking Night Shifts, • Rolling 2-week rota:, • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, • Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday, • Hours: 21:30 – 08:00 Day Shifts (35 Hours Contract), • 07:30 – 21:30, • 06:30 – 20:30, • Experience in Children’s Residential Care / Support Work, • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) – Desirable, • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding & Child Protection, • Ability to manage challenging behaviour professionally, • Full UK Driving Licence (Required), • Must have full right to work in the UK (No sponsorship available) What We Offer, • £15.00 – £16.00 per hour (competitive rate), • Flexible shift patterns (Days & Waking Nights), • Ongoing training and career development, • Supportive and structured working environment, • Opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives Apply NowIf you are a passionate Support Worker with experience in children’s residential care, apply today with your CV.
