Schools Account Manager About the job · Location: Home Based (with occasional travel for events) · Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 FTE · Contract: Maternity Cover, December 2025 September 2026 · Days per week – Between 3 – 5 days per week (Flexible) This role could be based out of any UK location - will flexibility to travel as required. We are a small, collaborative team working across both foundations, supporting one another to deliver a shared mission. The Schools Account Manager will play a crucial role in developing and nurturing deep, long-term relationships with schools, colleges, and education leaders. School Account Manager As a School Account Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our reach and impact by identifying new school partnerships, managing relationships, and ensuring seamless workshop delivery. You will be responsible for researching and engaging with schools, maintaining an up-to-date CRM, and working closely with teachers, schools, and multi-academy trusts (MATs) to facilitate successful workshop bookings. Key Responsibilities: School Engagement & Outreach • Conduct research to identify and engage new schools, multi-academy trusts (MATs), and education networks., • Proactively reach out to schools through email, phone calls, and occasional in-person visits., • Develop and execute strategies to increase school participation in Inner Spark workshops., • Identify opportunities to engage schools through social care and wellbeing initiatives in partnership with the Hallmark Foundation. Relationship Management • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with teachers, school leaders, and MATs., • Act as the primary point of contact for schools, ensuring excellent customer service., • Provide guidance on workshop eligibility, including free school meal criteria and funding options., • Represent Inner Spark and both Foundations at education and social care events, conferences, and regional networks. Workshop Coordination & Logistics • Manage the end-to-end bookings process for schools from initial enquiry to confirmed booking., • Maintain a consistent pipeline of bookings to support our nationwide facilitator team., • Coordinate logistical aspects of workshop delivery, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and materials., • Liaise with facilitators and delivery partners to ensure high-quality and impactful workshop sessions. Strategic Growth & Partnerships • Support the development and achievement of annual school engagement and workshop delivery targets., • Develop relationships with regional education bodies, trusts, and networks to support future expansion., • Gather insights from schools to inform future programme design and strategy., • Contribute to outreach campaigns and marketing materials to raise awareness of Inner Spark Data Management & Reporting • Maintain accurate records of school engagement and workshop bookings using a CRM system., • Track and analyse participation data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement., • Report progress, challenges, and opportunities to the Head of Programmes and Partnerships. Required Skills & Qualifications: · Proven experience in account management, business development, or partnerships (preferably in education, non-profit, or social impact sectors). · Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with teachers and school decision-makers. · Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. · Proficiency in using CRM systems and office tools (Monday.com, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace) to manage contacts and track engagement. · Ability to work independently and remotely, while collaborating effectively with internal teams. · A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions. Desired Skills: · Experience working directly with schools or within an educational organisation. · Understanding of school funding structures and free school meal eligibility. · Familiarity with education policy and the challenges facing schools today. · Experience coordinating workshops, training sessions, or events. · Basic data analysis and reporting experience to measure programme impact.
