Andrew Jay's School of Music currently require engaging, skilled and experienced Music teachers to join our teaching team of peripatetic tuition across our local community. we are recruiting Face to Face teachers in: • Singing, • Drum Kit, • Guitar, • Piano Candidates must be located within Warlingham or the immediate surrounding area in order to be accessible to our students and meet the current demand. We would like to hear from teachers from a range of musical disciplines and genres including: • Jazz, • Popular Music, • Musical Theatre, • Rock, • Classical Candidates with previous teaching experience and who possess the personality, skill, and ability to engage with people of all ages and abilities in fun, engaging and excellent lessons will be successful. Andrew Jay’s School of Music does not currently operate from our own premises so any successful candidates would need to have an appropriate location from which they can teach. All successful candidates must hold an Enhanced DBS Check. Be advised that you may be asked to renew your DBS before engaging in any work on behalf of Andrew Jay’s School of Music. Candidates must be flexible in the hours they are available to teach, including being available to teach in the evenings, at the weekend, primarily on Saturdays.     ENGLISH TEACHER (KS2 – GCSE & 11+) Location: Wallington Academy, Wallington, Surrey Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM Saturday, 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM About Us Wallington Academy is a growing and ambitious tuition centre providing high-quality education for students from Year 1 to GCSE. We specialise in 11+ preparation, SATs, KS3, and GCSE programmes, helping students achieve academic excellence and gain entry into top grammar and independent schools. The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students across a range of ages and abilities, from primary school through to GCSE level. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities • Teach English Language and Literature from KS2 to GCSE., • Deliver engaging lessons in:, • Reading and Comprehension, • Creative Writing, • Grammar and Vocabulary, • Essay Writing, • GCSE English Language, • GCSE English Literature, • 11+ English Preparation, • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback., • Mark classwork, homework, and assessments., • Prepare lesson materials and resources., • Support students in achieving academic targets and examination success., • Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress., • Communicate effectively with parents and academy staff. Essential Requirements • Degree in English or a related subject., • Experience teaching English from KS2 to GCSE., • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum., • Excellent communication and classroom management skills., • Ability to teach students of varying abilities., • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)., • Right to work in the UK. Desirable Qualifications • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)., • Experience preparing students for 11+ examinations., • Experience teaching GCSE English Language and Literature., • Previous tuition centre or independent school experience.     Pay: £27,727.00-£30,433.00 per year Job Description: Blackshaw Nursery offers high quality childcare services to both the staff of St George's hospital and the families in the local community. We provide full and part time placements in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Our nursery is committed to fostering the development of children through engaging activities, encouraging a love for learning and supporting their social and emotional growth. Located in Tooting, we prioritise collaboration with parents and caregivers to best support each child's unique needs. We cater for children aged 1-5 years. We are open Monday -Friday 7am - 6pm. An 8 hour shift is worked within these hours which includes a 1 hour break. We are looking for reliable, nurturing, enthusiastic Childcare Practitioners Level 2 or 3 to work for us full time or 2/3 days a week. Starting salary; £27727 pa + 3% pension contribution. Level 2 (pro rata if part time) Starting salary; £28339 pa + 3% pension contribution. Level 3 (pro rata if part time) Annual leave; 22 days + 8 Bank holidays (Pro rata if part time), when the nursery is closed. We also close for 2 days a year for staff training. Main objective of the post; • To be aware and understand the needs of the users of the nursery., • To treat every child as a unique individual whilst respecting their cultures, religion, choices and different stages of development and capabilities., • To be a team player and support each other in any way possible., • To be a good role model., • Provide an inclusive service for care and education ensuring that activities planned and carried out are sensitive to the diverse background of the children., • To keep records on the children as necessary., • Demonstrate skills in communication,including the ability to effectively interact with the children, parents and colleagues., • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and planning., • Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that support children’s development., • Promote children’s independence, confidence, and well-being., • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations,safeguarding and first aid is an advantage.
