Design and MEICA Manager £75,000 – £85,000 + benefits South West England Permanent A leading contractor in the utilities and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Design and MEICA Manager to oversee the design and delivery of MEICA services within a major non-core project portfolio. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for ensuring safe, compliant and efficient project execution, reporting directly to the Director of Projects. The Role • Lead the management and coordination of design and MEICA services across multiple projects., • Oversee project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, programme and budget compliance., • Deputise for the Director of Projects, making key decisions and providing day-to-day leadership., • Drive corporate governance and best practice in project delivery., • Manage budgets, resources and operational processes to maximise efficiency and profitability., • Lead client stakeholder management, building strong commercial relationships., • Ensure CDM compliance, risk management and adherence to company systems and procedures., • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and implementation of new technologies., • Provide leadership, coaching and motivation to multi-disciplinary project teams. The Person • Proven leadership experience in a similar role., • Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in engineering or construction management., • Strong track record in the management and delivery of design & build projects of varying value., • In-depth knowledge of CDM compliance and NEC contracts., • Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills., • Strong organisational, decision-making and negotiation capabilities., • Ability to lead multi-discipline teams and influence across all levels of the business.
