Role Overview: We are seeking a Digital Printing Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain large-format digital printing equipment to produce premium-quality graphics, displays, and signage according to customer specifications and company standards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, technical skills, and a proactive attitude towards quality, health and safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Proof/check client-supplied and internal artwork for print-readiness, • Print jobs using our Reggianni Dyesub. Uvistar reel to reel and Inca Onest flatbed presses, • Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment, • Ensure jobs are completed on time and to the required quality standards, • Update the management system at each process stage, • Report and record any defects, maintenance issues, or non-conformities, • Monitor the quality of job output for correctness and image quality, • Collaborate with the finishing and cutting teams to ensure smooth workflow, • Keep the printing area tidy and compliant with health & safety standards. About You — Person Specification We are looking for someone who demonstrates clear, compassionate communication and strong listening skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly. Patience, empathy, and resilience are essential when supporting children with complex needs or challenging behavior. Good written skills and basic IT literacy for record-keeping and reporting are required, along with an understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries. Calm, confident de-escalation skills and the ability to follow behavior management plans are crucial. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar residential or supported setting working with children or young people. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and right to work in the UK. Desirable: Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Health & Social Care or NVQ Level 3 for Residential Childcare or equivalent (or working towards it). Training or experience in trauma-informed practice, autism/ADHD awareness, positive behavior support, and first aid.
