We are seeking an experienced and resilient Teaching Assistant to support a primary school pupil with SEMH needs on a 2:1 basis within a well-supported primary school setting. To work Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 15:30 to start immediately. Role Overview • 2:1 SEMH support for a KS1 pupil, • Working within a structured behaviour support plan, • Supporting emotional regulation, engagement in learning, and transitions, • Use of movement breaks, physical activity, learning tasks and reward systems, • 2:1 staffing model, • Headteacher and Deputy Head actively involved, • Risk assessments and strategies already in place, • SEMH-related behaviours that can be physically challenging, • Requires adults who can:, • Maintain calm, consistent boundaries, • Use de-escalation strategies effectively, • Support regulation through structured activity, • Proven experience supporting p...
