As an Administrative Assistant, you will: • Answer and route incoming calls, take messages, and provide information and assistance as needed., • Perform a variety of administrative and office support tasks, including mail distribution, copying, scanning, supply ordering, and special projects., • Welcome visitors, vendors, and staff, and guiding them as needed through the building., • Interact with patients and their families with compassion, professionalism, and respect for diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds., • Effectively prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a busy environment., • Work collaboratively as a member of a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently., • Exercise sound judgment, discretion, initiative, and flexibility in responding to daily operational needs., • Learn, understand, and adhere to Horizon's policies, procedures, and privacy and confidentiality requirements., • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents using Microsoft Office applications and office technology, while adapting to new software and systems as needed. Here are a few specifics of what you’ll need for the job: • High school diploma with 2 years of experience within an office-setting customer service or business administration field required. Location: This position is located at our corporate office at 55 Dodge Road, Getzville, NY, 14068. Position Hours: This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. Regular hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30/8:00 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m., and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Flexibility to adjust hours as business needs require. Compensation Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $18.26 - $19.78. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
