A qualified person is someone who has had any experience in (an): • Office setting. This position is one of the most important in the organization. It is the very first touch-point our customers experience with us. Your job is to convey why we do what we do, how we do it, what makes us better and why we are the best place for children, emerging adults, and parents of athletes. You will support an environment which is focused on the overall physical & mental development of children and instill confidence in the customers we serve. It is expected that you demonstrate a positive attitude, bring forth the attributes that allow you to be the best you can be, and have fun while keeping smiles, sales and polite persistence in the forefront at all times. Duties: • Know how to open and close the work space on a daily basis., • Read & respond to customer inquiries through email and through online website contact form submissions., • Answer incoming calls, make outgoing calls., • Know talking points and give inspiring and interactive facility tours., • Sign up new members for gymnastics & special events, private lessons and birthday parties., • Take & record payments., • Encourage merchandise sales and/or apply purchase discounts., • Attract, enrich, and retain customers by answering questions about our programs and services by phone, email, and in person., • Enroll students into class management system., • Know how to handle drops from the program in class management system., • Type, print, copy, collate, alphabetize etc. and disseminate information throughout the organization using a mutually agreed on, consistent, and fun format., • Decorate the front of the building for holidays, • Maintain customer service program for new sign ups, drop outs, move ups. Enter into database, send hand written notes, and go out of your way to politely follow up., • Send a card to each student that registers, welcome them to our program, follow up with a welcome email to the parent(s)., • Give students branded items upon registration., • Call and/or send survey to each student who drops, follow up with an email thanking them and inviting them back another time., • We will teach principles customized to your level of engagement and responsibility here at the gym on motivation, leadership, customer service, supervision, team building, self-esteem building, overcoming resistance to change, conflict resolution, brainstorming, teamwork, communicating with young children and parents and inspiring athletes and families, vision, mission, overcoming fear, turning stress or anxiety into optimism, selling and more. High School diploma or GED. Desire to learn and grow, respect for sports, highly organized mind, team player, telephone skills, communication skills, people skills, computer & technologically proficient, selling skills and flexible hours. Compensation: Starting Pay - $16 per hour based on experience. Raises based on performance. Bonus(es) based on metrics and goals. Shifts are scheduled during the following days: • Monday - Thursday 2:30pm-8:30pm, • Friday 3:30pm-7:45pm
