Direct role for one of our pharma manufacturing clients is looking for a Refrigeration Technician. *EPA Section 608 Certification (Refrigerant Transition and Recovery) Universal Technician Certification JOB SUMMARY • Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams and general arrangement drawings., • Assemble, test, dehydrate, charge, and troubleshoot refrigeration systems with minimal supervision., • Perform high-quality silver soldering on copper refrigeration systems up to three inches in diameter., • This includes bending and flaring copper tubing according to reliable standards., • Use piping and instrumentation diagrams to assemble and troubleshoot low-temperature refrigeration systems., • Analyze material availability and support continuous improvement initiatives., • Provide input on refrigeration procedures and work instructions., • Deliver training and administer refrigeration soldering tests as needed., • Control the in-house refrigerant supply and maintain the associated documentation., • Assist with administrative tasks and support off-site installations and preventive maintenance activities. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES • High School Diploma (trade school concentration preferred)., • Familiarity with low-temperature refrigeration systems and troubleshooting techniques., • Strong mechanical aptitude and self-motivation., • Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with refrigeration systems., • Ability to work independently in a job shop environment.
