Job Summary This is a contract-to-hire opportunity within a 16-person data team responsible for AI and machine learning related use cases, building generic components, automation, and business analytics. The role focuses on collections call analytics (30% of time) and building generic components for automated data development spaces (70% of time). The team is in a testing phase with the goal of achieving unsupervised automation. You will be responsible for learning, adopting, and executing new technologies as they emerge, working with the Azure Enterprise platform and tools. The team works across global delivery vendors and stakeholders including the Azure Enterprise team, lines of business, and the AI team that controls the LLM infrastructure. Success in this role requires an analytical mindset and the ability to visualize end-state architectures, come up with innovative solutions, and coordinate across teams to implement proof-of-concept AI technology and roll out new technologies. Key Responsibilities • Develop data engineering solutions using Python, PySpark, and the Azure Enterprise platform, • Implement and execute new AI and machine learning technologies as they emerge within the data workspace, • Develop and scale agents using CoPilot and modern AI coding techniques, • Participate in collections call analytics process audio files from customer call centers, analyze performance metrics with agents, and measure agent performance, • Build and maintain generic, reusable data components for the automated data development space, • Engage in proof-of-concept implementations and roll-outs of experimental and emerging technologies, • Collaborate with stakeholders including the Azure Enterprise team, lines of business, and the AI team to understand requirements and deliver solutions, • Visualize end-state architectures, come up with ideas and solutions for achieving business objectives, • Coordinate work across global delivery vendors and internal teams, • Lead technical discussions, join stakeholder calls, and work across teams on coordination and implementation efforts, • Think through end-to-end processes and demonstrate clear architectural and solution thinking, • Support ETL workflows and data pipeline optimizationRequired Skills, • 10 years of back-end development experience within a data workspace, • 10 years of banking or financial services experience, • Strong expertise using Python and PySpark for development, • Strong AI and machine learning skills, including CoPilot and VIBE coding, • Exposure to legacy tools and technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, Mainframe, etc.), • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), • Collaborative approach contributes technical ideas and works well with others, • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, • Data engineering background with experience implementing new AI technology, • Azure platform knowledge and experience, • Analytical mindset with ability to think through greenfield areas and novel problems, • Ability to learn, grab, and execute new technology as it emergesPreferred Skills, • AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science certifications, • Prior interview experience with major technology companies (Amazon, Google, Meta, etc.), • Experience with no-code or low-code AI development approaches, • Familiarity with LLM tools and technologies (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)Education Requirements, • Minimum graduate degree requiredRequired Experience, • 10 years of overall experience in data engineering or related fieldWork Environment / Physical Requirements, • Must be within commutable distance to one of the following hub locations: Mount Laurel, NJ; Wilmington, DE; Jacksonville, FL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Lewiston, ME; Portland, ME; Charlotte, NC; Greenville, SC; Boston, MA; Washington/Vienna, VA; or New York, NY, • Minimal hands-on coding required; however, candidates should have a clear end-to-end thought process and architectural thinking, • Access to customer data will be providedBenefits, • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans #LI-GTT #LI-Hybrid #gttjobs Company DescriptionGlobal Technical Talent is a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation () with over 1.3 billion US$ in revenue and 5800 US employees.
