Medium sized contract packaging and manufacturing company on the border of Hawthorne, in Paterson Industrial Park. 1. Must have 2 years’ experience in driving a fork lift truck and a valid NJ Driver’s License. 2. Operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift to load, unload, transport, and stack pallets of goods within a warehouse. 3. Ensuring proper inventory management by moving materials to designated storage areas while adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures; 4. Duties may include performing basic maintenance checks on the forklift and maintaining a clean and organized work area. 5. Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. 6. Checking shipping & receiving documents, verify counts in cases, cases on pallets, and lot numbers on cases. 7. Candidate should be able to speak, read and write English. 8. Would like for you to have prior experience repairing forklifts, pallet jacks and other heavy industrial equipment. Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, including brake systems, tire and wheel changes, and mast and attachment components. Record work orders and maintenance logs to track the history of each forklift Must be able to perform heavy lifting and have a valid NJ driver's license. Need to be able to speak read and write English bilingual is a plus. Mechanics will respond to call at customer locations with our company provided van. Should have your own tools.
