Job Description Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care Certified We are a wound care provider in the Atlantic City, NJ area to include Cumberland and Cape May counties , seeking a Licensed/Board Certified Nurse Practitioner to provide care in the home for patients. Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities: • Provide in-person evaluation and management visits for patients with acute and chronic wounds and related skin disorders within a defined geographic area in home setting, assisted living and/or skilled nursing facilities. Perform medically necessary debridement and procedures within CMS guidelines to promote healing. Estimated time spent on in-person care, 80%, • Follows appropriate level of infection prevention protocols and handling of contaminated equipment., • EMR - Documentation of services to support appropriate level of billing consistent with CMS guidelines., • Uses judgment and critical thinking skills to assess, diagnose and identify outcomes to promote safe patient engagement., • Education: Master’s Degree, • Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State Board of Nursing (SBON). Board Certified as Nurse Practitioner., • Certification : WOCN certification by the WOCNCB in wound care. CWCN (Certified Wound Care Nurse). or receive in the first 90days., • Minimum of 3 years working as a wound specialist., • Minimum 3 years full-time experience in Acute Care, Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, or Outpatient clinic practicing as a certified wound specialist and a minimum of 1 year practicing as a Nurse Practitioner in a wound-related role., • Excellent pay, • Excellent health benefits including dental, vision, DI and life, • Paid Time Off 4 weeks first year plus sick pay, • Paid holidays (8), • Floating holidays (4)

Job DescriptionSalary: $125,000 - $135,000 year $1,500 Sign On Bonus! Travel will be required as part of this role to meet patient needs and engage with external healthcare partners. As a Nurse Practitioner at our facility, you will be essential in ensuring that our patients receive optimal care tailored to their individual health needs. This role involves comprehensive duties including conducting physical exams, interpreting laboratory and imaging results, and managing patient health overall. You will also serve as an educator, informing patients and their referring clinicians about the services we provide, and the care plans developed. This position is designed for a dedicated individual eager to expand their knowledge and clinical expertise while actively contributing to our patient-focused care objectives. You will see patients in our offices as well as external facilities & patient homes in Atlantic & Cape May Counties. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed patient examinations and review medical history., • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and X-rays., • Diagnose health conditions based on a thorough evaluation of test results., • Prescribe and manage medications., • Maintain precise patient records and appointment schedules., • Educate patients about their health conditions and the medications prescribed., • Advanced professional knowledge in a healthcare setting., • Demonstrable experience as a Nurse Practitioner in environments such as clinics, hospitals, emergency rooms, etc., • Proficiency in primary care, acute care, and chronic care management., • Familiarity with health and patient care regulations., • Outstanding communication skills., • Strong ethical grounding., • Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting with a positive attitude., • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure., • Commitment to continual education and clinical skill enhancement., • Valid Nurse Practitioner license., • Valid Driver's License., • Current BLS/ACLS certifications., • Active CDS and DEA licenses.
