Key Responsibilities\n As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your core responsibilities will include: \n\n • Conducting thorough assessments and developing personalized treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families.\n, • Facilitating therapeutic sessions with couples, addressing issues such as conflicts among family members, blended family dynamics, and communication difficulties.\n, • Providing individual therapy sessions while specializing in areas such as grief and loss, alcohol abuse, job stress, physical and psychological abuse, and adjustment to separation or divorce.\n, • Utilizing evidence-based modalities and therapy approaches to promote positive outcomes and emotional well-being.\n, • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with industry standards and regulations.\n, • Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise in the field.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n Your work will predominantly revolve around helping a diverse client base, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will specialize in complex family systems, focusing on their unique needs, cultural backgrounds, and psychosocial challenges. The clientele may include those dealing with significant life transitions, relationship distress, and various mental health concerns, underscoring the importance of your role in contributing to their long-term wellness. Qualifications\n The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: \n\n • A current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.\n, • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.\n, • A strong commitment to providing quality care and a passion for working with families and individuals.\nPreferred Experience\n Although recent graduates are welcome to apply, we will give preference to candidates with experience in the therapeutic treatment of family dynamics, knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques, and a proven ability to build rapport with diverse clients. Availability for at least 30 hours per week is also preferred, contributing to our aim for comprehensive treatment availability.
