What You Will Do As the HR Generalist, you will support our expanding Retail and Customer Service teams, playing a vital role in delivering a superior employee experience for our front-line employees. We are seeking a data-driven, business-focused HR professional who is ready to elevate their HR expertise and help the People team in building a high-performing, best-in-class organization. Responsibilities • Serve as the primary HR liaison for employees within our Retail and Customer Service teams., • Generate and analyze quantitative HR reports to track key performance indicators., • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Saatva's Employee Handbook and policies to guide both employees and managers., • Respond to inquiries through the Payroll and HR inboxes in a timely and professional manner., • Develop expertise in ADP Workforce Now, including serving as backup support for payroll processing., • Ensure accuracy and compliance within the leave of absence and medical accommodation process in partnership with our third-party administrator, managers, payroll, and employees., • Maintain accurate and compliant digital personnel records and files., • Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Benefits, and other departments., • Support supervisors with performance management processes., • Facilitate employee onboarding and off-boarding, including data entry, I-9 processing, and exit interviews., • Coordinate HR meetings, events, and team calendars.What You Will Need, • Bachelor's degree in Business or a quantitative field preferred., • 3+ Years of prior HR experience with a solid understanding of HR practices, policies, and procedures., • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS; ADP Payroll experience is a plus., • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of executing HR projects accurately and on deadline., • Experience onboarding and offboarding employees, including administrative documentation., • Ability to create, analyze, and interpret HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making., • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, etc.)., • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, evolving work environment., • Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment with strict confidentiality standards., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively across all organizational levels. Primary Locations for Consideration: • New York, NY, • Paramus, NJ, • Washington, D.C., • Boston, MA, • Baltimore, MD, • San Diego, CA Salary Range: $70,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined in accordance with applicable state and local laws. Work Authorization: At this time, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
