A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. Local Team Collaboration: • Join our close-knit group of 12 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo., • Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who are supportive and collaborative with other staff and departments., • Board-certified or board-eligible physician assistant., • Hospitalist experience preferred; Hospitalist training required., • Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-day-on, 7-day-off rotation., • Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Night schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, • As a Day clinician, your responsibility will encompass rounding on approximately fourteen patients per shift and discharging when appropriate, while our night clinician will perform 3 admissions in addition to cross coverage., • The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivists on hand 24/7. So, procedures or codes are not required., • We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts. Compensation: • The base salary for days is $140k-$150k, and for nights, it is $170k, • We are offering a commencement bonus of $25,000 for the nocturnist position., • Both positions have an opportunity for bonuses based on performance and growth.
