Job DescriptionJob Description & Requirements Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care - (RRT - PICU) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1503.00 - $1563.00 7:00PM -7:00AMCurrent NICU/PICU experienceUnit staffing description/Department structure: Director, Manager, 1 Supervisor/charge therapist per shift, and regular staffType of equipment : High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo’s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizersDocumentation system: MeditechFloating policy: may provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etcMUST HAVE: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experienceRespiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies, medication delivery, etc.Team player, critical thinker, patient care focus, fast paced, Adaptable to changeMultidisciplinary approach to patient care and collaborative in natureLight Gray also known as Silver447 tertiary care and teaching facility, Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, Level 3 NICU, Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center Required Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist, NICU Experience: 2 years Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA; NRP-AHA; PALS-AHA AND Registered Respiratory Therapist, PICU Experience: 2 years RT-FL Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA; NRP-AHA; PALS-AHA SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year Preferred Qualifications Director prefer to only consider candidates with previous Meditech experience Facility Location Blessed with soft Caribbean breezes, pristine, palm-shaded beaches, shimmering emerald waters and balmy temperatures, the Miami region is the ideal destination for healthcare professionals in search of a high-energy, sun-drenched location.
