All supports are offered in positive settings, that are the least restrictive possible. DEMONSTRATIVE DUTIES Medical Support Professionals provide observations, evaluations, and reports to other team members to ensure and/or record an individual’s progress toward their personal goals, in accordance with their individual support plans. In doing this, they guide, assist, and teach individuals to advance their skills to foster an independence based on their needs, preferences, and desires. All staff are expected to be alert and focused on the person supported needs along with being free from personal distractions (for example: personal phone calls, texting on cell phones, wearing headphones, etc.) COMMUNICATION As a member of the program planning team, Medical Support Professionals communicate with other DSPs, supervisors and/or clinical staff, Individuals, families, employers, community members and others for the purpose of sharing information and obtaining direction. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will: • Work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans., • Provide 1-on-1 in-home ABA therapy to assigned clients, • Be tasked with reporting to the client’s home for therapy sessions and ensuring that the client is always in a safe and positive environment., • Ensure client satisfaction by providing the highest quality of care and support possible., • Log daily observations of the client, collecting and reporting critical data to help in monitoring each client’s progress., • Receive remote and/or in-person supervision by BCBA to ensure proper ABA techniques are practiced., • Truly, we are looking for someone who would take joy in seeing and contributing to the extraordinary progress of their clients as they develop positive behaviors and learn new skills.
