Job Description The award-winning, highly rated restaurant La Stella Cucina Verace is expanding to Addison. La Stella Steakhouse and Music Lounge will be opening mid to end of October. We are putting together our team and interviewing daily. We are looking for a Bar manager/lead bartender. Description is below. * Job Title: Bar Cocktail Manager * Reports To: General Manager or Director of Operations * Supervises: Bartenders, Barbacks, Cocktail Servers • Primary Responsibilities, • Cocktail Program Development • Design and curate seasonal craft cocktail menus. • Innovate with ingredients, techniques, and presentation aligned with the restaurant’s brand. • Ensure cocktails are balanced, consistent, and visually stunning. • Integrate spirits upsell strategies (e.g., premium tequila, amaro flights, Negroni variations)., • Staff Leadership & Training • Train bartenders and servers on all cocktails, spirits, wine-by-the-glass, and recommendations. • Establish and uphold Forbes Five-Star-level service standards. • Lead pre-service bar tastings and staff knowledge tests. • Act as a coach behind the bar, maintaining morale, discipline, and accountability., • Bar Operations & Inventory Management • Manage liquor, wine, and beer inventory using par levels and tracking systems. • Conduct monthly or weekly liquor counts and cost analysis. • Coordinate vendor orders and maintain strong supplier relationships. • Ensure compliance with TABC and local alcohol service laws., • Guest Experience & Service Excellence • Ensure all drinks are served promptly, precisely, and with polish. • Resolve guest complaints or special requests with grace and urgency. • Be present during high-volume nights or events to oversee quality and flow. • Represent the bar program tableside when necessary for VIPs or cocktail pairings., • Financial & Strategic Oversight • Set cocktail pricing for profitability and market competitiveness.• Monitor sales metrics, upselling performance, and guest favorites. • Collaborate with GM, Sommelier, and Executive Chef on pairing menus and event programs. • Lead bar-driven promotions (e.g., Aperitivo Hour, holiday cocktails, truffle Negronis)., • Required Skills & Traits, • Deep knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, bar trends, and mixology techniques., • Ability to lead a team with clarity, charisma, and professionalism., • High-level multitasking: managing prep, service, guests, and staff simultaneously., • Creative mindset with business acumen., • Strong palate and aesthetic sense (garnishing, glassware, presentation)., • •bility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays., • Preferred Qualifications, • 3+ years of bar leadership in a fine dining or upscale cocktail bar., • Formal mixology or sommelier training preferred., • TABC certification and Food Handler's Permit., • Experience with POS systems and inventory software (e.g., BevSpot, BinWise)., • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), • Cocktail program profitability (pour cost, waste reduction)., • Guest satisfaction scores and cocktail sales., • Staff retention and performance., • Bar cleanliness, setup consistency, and execution during service.Company DescriptionJoin La Stella Cucina Verace’s award-winning team, where authentic Italian cuisine, growth, and a passionate culture await you!Join La Stella Cucina Verace’s award-winning team, where authentic Italian cuisine, growth, and a passionate culture await you!
