We have an immediate need for a well-organized, enthusiastic individual to join our prestigious, award winning property management team as a Maintenance Technician II at our luxury apartment community, Liberty Towers and other surrounding Jersey City, NJ communities. Skills: Must be able to diagnose problems with and repair the following: • major appliances, • HVAC, • basic - intermediate plumbing (when no license required), • basic - intermediate electrical (when no license required), • sheetrock, • general carpentry, • pool care (if required by property), • gutters, • wallpaper/painting Other skills included, but not limited to: • ability to deal well with people and get them to feel comfortable quickly, • basic computer skills, specifically knowledge of Microsoft Office products, • good verbal and written communication skills, • strong customer service orientation, • must have the ability to arrive at the site within 30 minutes if not living on site Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent or 2 years of experience in the field., • EPA certifications for refrigerant recycling and at a minimum, Type I & II certifications (Please note: Veris will pay for the EPA testing materials and test if completed and passed within 5 months of being hired), • Valid Driver’s License and insurance, • Black Seal – if required by property, • CPO – Certified Pool Operator Certification – if required by property, • Other licenses and certifications as required by state or local laws Compensation: $54,080 Veris Residential, Inc. has a proven record of success along with competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, FSA/DDC, company paid life insurance, supplemental insurance programs and 401(k). Job DescriptionOur client, a high-growth, mid-sized, Telecoms software business supplying a complex portfolio of OSS / BSS solutions (billing, self-service, interconnect, inventory, charging etc.), is looking to expand its North American business and is seeking a highly motivated individual with the drive to deliver and develop our clients North American business.As sales lead, you will use their existing operator contacts in the region, your networks, and events and outbound campaigning team to build a pipeline. This will be supported initially by an SDR-based US presales team in London, with the plan to grow those functions in these new territories as the quantity of opportunities dictates.The role involves the following principle activities: Attending trade shows and events Lead development Solution selling Participate in or ideally lead functional presentations and workshops Commercial awareness, involvement in bid preparation Pipeline management and reporting Working with the existing Presales team to deliver software demonstrations Over time building a new sales team presence in the new regionExperience RequiredFamiliarity with BSS and/or OSS applications used in support of a Telecommunications Operator’s business. This familiarity must be demonstrated to enable appreciation of the Customer’s usage of the system and of their changing requirements. Competence with standard MS Office applications and an awareness of project management techniques. Job Description Job Summary The scale house operator person is responsible for the operation and security of the scale house at the plant, ensuring all work is carried out in an efficient manner and following all coast guard regulations. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. • Responsible to monitor and record all visitors on and off the property., • Responsible to weigh all trucks entering /exiting the facility and as needed before and after off-loading., • Required to accurately fill out and maintain shipping & receiving logs., • Responsible to complete commodity contracts as required., • Responsible for keeping various daily & weekly spreadsheets updated., • Responsible to set up & close out daily ticket control sheets., • Responsible for maintaining the plant trailer board and assigning trailers as needed., • Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations., • All other duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or GED., • Must be 21 years of age. Preferred Qualifications • Good communication skills, both oral and written., • Team player; works well with others., • Good "hands on" working ability and skills., • Detail oriented; well organized; ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks., • Excellent math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers., • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
