Job DescriptionDescription: Title: Field Sales Representative Region: Massachusetts, Rhode Island or Connecticut Position Type: Full-time, Salary + Incentive Compensation Location: Field based, in office once per week FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary The Field Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and outreach efforts to eligible potential beneficiaries to the US Family Health Plan of Southern New England within an assigned geographic region. This role plays a critical part in expanding the reach of the US Family Health Plan (USFHP) by building strong relationships with the military community, engaging directly with prospective and current members, and executing targeted sales and outreach strategies. The Field Sales Representative serves as a trusted liaison between USFHP and military bases, beneficiaries, and community partners, ensuring clear communication, education, and advocacy. Key Responsibilities Sales & Outreach • Implement US Family Health Plan sales and outreach strategies to meet quarterly and annual enrollment and growth targets., • Leverage the USFHP prospect database, CRM, and related tools to identify, track, and engage prospective beneficiaries., • Act as the primary liaison and trusted advisor to military base contacts, providing consultation, education, and ongoing communication., • Represent USFHP at Patient Advisory Committee meetings, beneficiary advocacy meetings, base events, and community activities., • Plan, coordinate, facilitate and participate in events such as health fairs, information sessions, open houses, and Plan-sponsored activities., • Participate actively in team meetings, departmental initiatives, and cross-functional activities to support organizational goals., • Provide timely updates and feedback to leadership on sales activities, community needs, and market trends., • Demonstrate respect and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, military partners, and colleagues., • Commit to recognizing and respecting cultural diversity, effectively communicating with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences., • Utilize interpreters and communication resources as needed to ensure inclusivity and accessibility., • Support additional sales, marketing, and external service activities as needed to advance USFHP goals. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree preferred., • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sales, marketing, recruiting, or public affairs, ideally within healthcare, military, or community-based environments., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and related applications., • Strong sales acumen with proven ability to meet and exceed goals., • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills., • Effective public speaking and presentation skills., • Deep familiarity with the local military community; prior experience as a military retiree, veteran, or active-duty family member strongly preferred., • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment., • Prior miliary service or personal connection to the military community preferred., • Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government personnel security clearance as a condition of employment., • Must reside within the assigned sales geographic region. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move throughout the field sites.
