The role includes reviewing medication orders, providing clinical consultation, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to promote optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities \t • Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety. \t, • Dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and established pharmacy policies. \t, • Prepare and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounded medications, including IV preparations when required. \t, • Monitor patient drug therapies and evaluate for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications. \t, • Provide drug information and clinical consultation to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. \t, • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulatory requirements. \t, • Maintain accurate medication records within pharmacy dispensing systems and EMR platforms. \t, • Participate in medication safety initiatives and quality improvement activities. \t, • Manage medication inventory, storage, and controlled substances according to regulatory standards. \t, • Support pharmacy operations including IV room workflow and sterile processing procedures. Required Skills & Experience \t, • Minimum one (1) year of Pharmacist experience. \t, • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and clinical pharmacy practices. \t, • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment. \t, • Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
