Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a talented Certified Medical Assistant to join their team across Westchester! Monitor patient arrival and assist with patient flow, ensuring that patients and visitors are greeted promptly and courteously. Escort patients to exam rooms, monitor patient wait times, assist patients in preparing for exams, and advise physicians when patients are ready. Assist during examinations if required or requested. Obtain and record patients' chief complaints, data, and histories, including vital signs, venipuncture, allergies, specimen collection, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration, documenting results within the scope of practice. Perform, prep, and assist with clinical and technical services as assigned. Prepare medical records, take heights, weights, and vital signs, and record them. Ensure lab and other reports are on records before each patient's appointment. Provide interpretation services and clerical support necessary for the efficient and effective functioning of the office. Maintain examination rooms and medical areas in a clean and orderly fashion. Stock examination rooms with supplies and check supplies from vendors against packing slips as assigned. Update pertinent patient information, including medical insurance coverage and eligibility, in the appropriate EMR system. Retrieve and file medical reports/lab results.
