INTERNSHIP SUMMARY: Sport Management Interns will learn how to promote and operate sports leagues, camps, clinics, tournaments, and other special events. They will be immersed in the scheduling, execution, and day-to-day operations of the facility assisting in any of following areas: Events and Operations, FEC (Family Entertainment Center) and Food and Beverage. Overall, Interns will gain valuable experience in the sports and recreation industry focusing on full-service entertainment. INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW: • Interns will be cross trained in multiple areas throughout the facility, such as event management, venue walkthroughs and daily facility operations, • Will complete an internship to gain real-world experience in sports management, Sports Technology, Esports & Gaming, • Some students may have longer or shorter practicum requirements with less time commitment and commitment length will be addressed individually, • We will develop an intern schedule to accommodate any individual requirements (i.e., class commitments), • Excellent oral and written communication skills, • Strong desire to learn, • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently, • Demonstrate success with multi-tasking and organizing multiple priorities, • Must be willing to work outside for extended periods of time, • Must be able to lift 30 pounds, • Currently a student or a new graduate, • A student majoring in sport management or related field Job Posted by ApplicantPro
