YOUR DAY TO DAY Under the supervision of the Director of Technical Operations, handle responsibility for advancing large installations. Act as the site supervisor for installation and inspection work. Use material handling equipment to safely manipulate large loads, as well as supervising and ensuring that other team members are handling materials appropriately. Responsibly use aerial lifts during the installation to allow access to the work areas and ensure that no unauthorized users are performing duties in aerial lifts. Use various hand and power tools to secure and modify equipment for installation. Work with the team to complete projects safely and efficiently. Work with the lead installer to produce tool lists and review drawings for the installation documentation. Prep for installations at the warehouse by pulling and packing equipment. Participate in the FAT of equipment to familiarize yourself with the installation process. Act as an inspector for mechanical and theatrical equipment. Produce inspection and daily reports as required by the current job. Attend meetings, in person or via video to stay abreast of the installations and upcoming projects to which you are assigned. Provide feedback on completed projects. Complete regular administration work such as filing receipts and timesheets. Track crew hours and overall budgets during installations and ensure that they remain within anticipated ranges. Produce reports for inspections and review them with other team members. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices; implement new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Demonstrate the values of the strategic plan, vision, and mission of the organization. Other duties as assigned. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training; Equivalent professional experience will be considered. Minimum of 5 years experience in applied theatrical rigging. Strong proficiency and experience with automated rigging systems, manual theatrical rigging systems. Knowledge of SWR crimping, various rope splicing, fall protection, ANSI, and OSHA standards. Must hold an OSHA 30 Certification, granted within the last 5 years. Must hold a valid forklift certification. Must hold a valid CPR/ First aid certification. Must hold a valid Aerial Lift Certification. Must hold a valid Fall Pro Competent Person. Must hold a valid ETCP certification in rigging. Training in automation control systems.
