You will play a key role in positioning our brand as the preferred choice for innovative, energy-efficient, and design-forward lighting solutions. Additionally, you will act as the primary point of contact for value engineering, leveraging our product portfolio to deliver cost-effective solutions while maintaining design intent and compliance with project specifications. Qualifications: Proven track record in lighting, electrical, or building services specification sales or similar Strong knowledge of lighting design principles, controls, energy efficiency, and compliance standards Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to explain technical lighting solutions in clear, customer-focused terms Self-motivated with strong organizational and project management abilities Proficiency with CRM systems and project tracking tools (i.e. wired contact) Job Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, lighting designers, building engineers and interior designers to ensure Chelsea is specified on projects. Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, preconstruction and project management to develop winning strategies. Attend industry events and trade shows to build brand awareness and expand your professional network. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. Prepare and deliver accurate reporting on specifications, pipelines, and sales forecasts (i.e. must win list). Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets through specification-led business development. Key Responsibilities • Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Use computerized diagnostic equipment to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes and identify issues with engines, transmissions, and electrical systems., • Routine Maintenance: Perform oil changes, tire rotations, brake pad replacements, and fluid checks (brake, power steering, etc.)., • Complex Repairs: Repair or replace worn components, including suspension, steering, wheel bearings, and sensors., • Documentation: Accurately record all repairs, diagnostic tests, and parts used in digital or manual repair orders., • Customer Interaction: Clearly explain necessary repairs and provide cost estimates to customers or service advisors., • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of full-time experience in automotive repair and diagnostics., • Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of an automotive technical program is a plus., • Certifications: ASE Certifications (e.g., A4 Steering and Suspension, A5 Brakes) are highly preferred., • License: Must possess a valid NY State driver’s license., • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or maneuver parts weighing up to 50–60 lbs., • Proficiency with hand and power tools (e.g., pneumatic wrenches, jacks)., • Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and schematics., • Excellent dexterity and steady hands for assembling small components.
